First Annual 2008 DERT Conference - April 1, 2008
"Partnering to Prepare, Respond and Recover"
The City of Dallas Office of Emergency Management, Dallas Police Department, Dallas Fire-Rescue and DOWNTOWNDALLAS partnered together to put on the first annual Dallas Emergency Response Team Conference on April 1, 2008. Over 400 hundred people attended to gather information from emergency planning and recovery company displays, talk with public and private emergency management representatives and view emergency response equipment used by the experts. DERT is in the process of expanding citywide and the conference was the first step towards this exciting growth.
